A master’s thesis in the Department of Life Sciences at the College of Education, Al-Qadisiyah University, entitled “The Impact of the TTW Strategy on Achievement and Scientific Communication Skills among Second-Year Intermediate Students,” was submitted by researcher Ameer Razzaq Ayash and supervised by Dr. Aseel Jumaa Ali.
The thesis aimed to identify the impact of the TTW strategy on the achievement of second-year intermediate students in biology and its impact on their scientific communication skills.
The most important conclusions included a comparative study between the TTW strategy and cooperative learning strategies in teaching biology, such as reciprocal learning and numbered heads. It also recommended conducting similar studies at different educational levels, such as primary, secondary, and university.
The most important recommendations included integrating the TTW strategy into curricula and study plans by: including the TTW strategy in teacher guides with practical examples and guiding teachers to use it in daily lessons; training and qualifying teachers through specialized workshops on how to effectively implement the TTW strategy; providing teachers with practical tools such as booklets and practical videos; and training teachers in managing successful dialogue and designing effective learning strategies.
