The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Dentistry, Al-Qadisiyah, held a workshop titled “Effective Patient Communication and Its Impact on Treatment Success.” The session was presented by trainee dentists Ibrahim Hussein Kamel and Bayan Falah Fadel.

The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of effective patient communication and dialogue skills, as well as methods to build patient trust in the dentist, improve patient understanding of the treatment plan, and foster greater patient adherence to treatment.

Key topics included the importance of using clear, simple language when explaining treatment; identifying and addressing patient concerns and needs; interacting with patients respectfully and calmly; and managing the use of complex medical terminology while maintaining continuous communication with the patient throughout the treatment process.
