By entering the British Times Ranking, University of Al-Qadisiyah achieves a new milestone


“A university without walls, a world without papers” is a slogan launched by the esteemed President of the University of Al-Qadisiyah, Prof. Dr. Kadhem Jabur Al-Juboori for the university  entry to the most important global rankings and to achieve the goals of the governmental program of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research as an important and distinctive indicator for Iraqi universities in international rankings, the matter which promotes the quality of higher education in Iraq to high ranks.

The University of Al-Qadisiyah has made a new achievement by entering the British Times ranking of Sustainable Development (The Impact Rankings 2021). This ranking is based on statistical indicators related to measuring the sustainable impact of the various activities of universities based on the seventeen goals of sustainable development set by the United Nations, which is also known as the Global Agenda 2030, which is a plan and a framework that seeks to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all by facing global challenges. The university was ranked (801 + 1000) in the British Times ranking for the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations (THE University Impact Rankings).

Mr. President of the University Prof. Dr. Kadhem Jabur Al-Juboori said that the inclusion of University of Al-Qadisiyah within this ranking is a great progress, and it could be a starting point for achieving more advanced ranks in the future, praising at the same time the great efforts made by all the university’s staff, which have yielded the gain of advanced positions in many international rankings approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
