As part of the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Academic Cooperation with the University of Liverpool, and with the direct support of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Professor Dr. Rahi Kalf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, and the Dean of the College of Law, Professor Dr. Nizam Jabbar Talib, a select group of professors from the College of Law at Al-Qadisiyah University participated in a two-week international training program in the United Kingdom. The participants included Professor Dr. Zainab Karim Sawadi, Assistant Professor Dr. Baida Ali Wali, Assistant Professor Dr. Safaa Mutab Fajjah, and Assistant Professor Dr. Huda Jaafar Yassin. The program included several topics, including an analysis of the legal policies of the European Union in confronting contemporary legal challenges, with a special focus on the ramifications of public international law. This participation falls within the College of Law’s executive plan aimed at developing the skills of faculty members through specialized international training programs, opening up to pioneering academic experiences at international universities, and updating curricula to align with recent developments in international law and global best practices in legal education.
