The seminar addressed the importance of building the character of the university student on sound scientific and ethical foundations, emphasizing the necessity of adhering to the authentic cultural identity emphasized by the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) and his Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them). It also highlighted the emphasis placed on this by the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Sayyid Ali Al-Husseini Al-Sistani (may his shadow be extended), who stated: “The greatest danger threatening the future of the country is the obliteration of its cultural identity,” of which the true Islamic religion is one of the most prominent pillars.
The seminar concluded with a question-and-answer session with the attending students, followed by the distribution of a selection of books. Religious, developmental, and cultural publications from the Holy Abbasid Shrine were presented amidst positive interaction from the attendees.
