In the context of strengthening scientific and academic cooperation between Iraqi universities, a memorandum of scientific cooperation was signed between the College of Education at Al-Qadisiyah University and the College of Education at Al-Farabi University, specifically in the field of English language studies. This took place during an official visit by a delegation from Al-Farabi University to the College of Education at Al-Qadisiyah University.

The delegation from Al-Farabi University was headed by Professor Abbas Ramadan. They were received by Professor Sattar Hamid Al-Janabi, Dean of the College of Education, accompanied by Professor Dirgham Sami Al-Rubaie, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, Professor Salima Abdul-Zahra, Head of the English Department, and several members of the department’s Scientific Committee and Postgraduate Studies Committee (Prof. Dr. Sami Bashir, Asst. Prf. Dr. Angham Abdul-Kadhim, Dr. Amal Jassim, Asst. Prf. Dr. Raed Karim, and Asst. Prf. Dr. Jalil Abdul-Jalil).

The two sides discussed prospects for academic cooperation, including the exchange of scientific expertise, the organization of joint seminars and training workshops, and the development of research programs in English. The meeting concluded with a call for the serious implementation of the memorandum of understanding, given its potential to support the scientific process and raise the educational and academic standards.
