The College of Pharmacy at Al-Qadisiyah University holds a seminar on ELISA technology in blood donation centers. Assis. Lec. Nour Abdul-Khader Salal presented the seminar.

The seminar aimed to highlight the importance of ELISA technology in detecting blood-borne infectious diseases and its vital role in ensuring the safety of blood donated at donation centers. It also addressed the scientific foundations of the technology and its mechanism of action in accurately identifying antibodies and antigens, making it one of the most reliable tests in virus detection laboratories.

The seminar concluded with a set of recommendations that emphasized the importance of training healthcare workers on modern techniques used in laboratory diagnostics and activating cooperation between the College of Pharmacy and blood donation centers to exchange scientific and practical expertise in this vital field.
