Department of English at the College of Education is holding a scientific lecture entitled “Improving Teaching Skills in the English Language” for three days.


Asst. Lect. Huda Hadi Jassim, Asst. Lect. Noura Ali Hussein, and Asst. Lect. Sarah Faisal conducted a three-day training course entitled “Improving Teaching Skills in the English Language” at the Department of English, College of Education. The lecture included an introduction to the most prominent skills used in the English language, as well as the possibility of developing them in light of the requirements of excellent education and sustainable development.

The application of the four skills in education plays a crucial role in mastering the process of disseminating information to learners. We achieve this by honing our skills and implementing the latest scientific techniques in the classroom to foster effective communication.

One of the lecture’s main objectives was to investigate the possibility of providing learners with a successful interactive environment through language skills. The course also aimed to study the concept of education, which integrates science and creativity. The lecture ended with some results that contribute to developing the characteristics of excellent education in the future.
