The Legal Unit, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the college, completed a specialized legal training course entitled “Oversight Bodies in Iraq and Their Role in Combating and Reducing Financial and Administrative Corruption.” The course was presented by Assistant Lecturers Sabahi Jawad Adhab, Hussein Ali Fadhil, and Zahraa Kamel Hammoud
This course stems from the university and college’s commitment to promoting the values of integrity and transparency within the academic and administrative environment. It aims to raise employee awareness of the legal and oversight mechanisms adopted to protect public funds and combat administrative and financial corruption in state institutions. The course also highlighted the role of the Integrity Commission and the Federal Board of Supreme Audit, and the activation of deterrent laws. The course featured constructive dialogue and participation from the attending staff and faculty.
