As part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week activities, and under the slogan “Ideas Launch from the Land of the Two Rivers,” and in cooperation with the Department of Surgery at the College, the College of Medicine held a scientific seminar entitled “How to Create a Healthy Research and Teaching Environment and Motivate Faculty Members and Students at the College of Medicine, Al-Qadisiyah University.”
The seminar was presented by Dr. Diaa Thahir Farhan, a faculty member in the Department of Surgery.
The workshop addressed the College of Medicine at Al-Qadisiyah University’s commitment to creating a healthy research and teaching environment by supporting scientific research, encouraging collaboration among faculty members, and updating curricula to keep pace with modern medical advancements. This is achieved by motivating students to participate in scientific and research activities and providing a supportive learning environment that contributes to raising the level of academic performance, achieving scientific excellence, and serving the community.
The workshop aimed to strengthen the concept of a healthy research and teaching environment within the College of Medicine, and to develop academic and research skills, thereby contributing to raising the quality of medical education, encouraging creativity and innovation, achieving scientific excellence, and serving the community.
