the College of Veterinary Medicine at Al-Qadisiyah University conducted a workshop as part of Entrepreneurship Week, entitled “Transforming Passion into Entrepreneurship.” The workshop was presented by Ms. Miad Qadir Al-Jashami.
The workshop aimed to transform the energy and creativity of Iraqi women from mere hobbies into real economic projects that contribute to achieving financial independence and self-empowerment, striving to break down stereotypes surrounding women’s work.
The workshop concluded with a set of recommendations, including the necessity of focusing on developing women’s administrative and technical skills to keep pace with the modern market, while leveraging digital technology as a primary platform for reaching the public. It also recommends strengthening collaboration among women entrepreneurs by forming supportive communities for sharing experiences, facilitating women’s access to funding and legal support that ensures the sustainability of their projects, and emphasizing the importance of balancing operational flexibility with professional implementation to ensure these projects’ resilience in the face of challenges.
