Professor Dr. Rahi Kalaf Mahdi Al-Yassiri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, received a team from the Cuneiform Text Digitization Initiative at his office to discuss prospects for scientific and research cooperation. The meeting was also attended by Professor Dr. Rajwan Faisal Al-Mayali, Dean of the College of Archaeology, and Professor Dr. Jaafar Al-Jawdhari.

The delegation consisted of Dr. Emily Bigberon from the Department of Archaeology at Oxford University, UK, and Dr. Ron Ratsberg from the Department of Archaeology at Lund University, Sweden.

The meeting focused on the initiative, which includes the development of an Arabic version of the Cuneiform Text Digitization Indexing (CDLI) website to facilitate its use by Iraqi researchers. This initiative is being undertaken in cooperation with the State Board of Antiquities and Heritage, Durham University, UK, and the British Institute for the Study of Iraq in London.
