The Department of Materials Engineering at the College of Engineering, Al-Qadisiyah University, held a specialized scientific training course entitled “The Use of Engineering Materials in Medical Applications” in the Continuing Education Hall. The course was presented by Dr. Saleh Jawad Hamza.

This course comes as part of the Department of Materials Engineering’s efforts to enhance knowledge of interdisciplinary applications that serve the healthcare sector and meet the needs of the local and global markets.  This specialization (known as tissue engineering or biomedical engineering) is one of the most important fields of research and development, as it focuses on designing materials capable of mimicking the functions of human organs.
