A training course was held at the College of Dentistry, Al-Qadisiyah University, on the potential use of bacteriophages as antibacterial agents in dental infections.
the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Dentistry held a training course entitled “The Potential Use of Bacteriophages as Antibacterial Agents in Dental Infections.”  It aimed to explore the potential use of bacteriophages in treating potential dental infections by precisely targeting specific bacterial strains. This reduces side effects on beneficial bacteria and offers an alternative to traditional antibiotics, especially in cases of antibiotic resistance.
