In a move that reflects the strategic direction toward strengthening international academic cooperation, Professor Rahi Kalf Mahdi Al-Yasiri, President of Al-Qadisiyah University, signed a memorandum of understanding with Farabi University in Tehran, Iran, a prestigious scholarship university. The signing ceremony was attended by the Scientific Assistant, Prof. Dr. Sattar Abdul-Hassan Al-Fatlawi, and the Director of the Scholarships and Cultural Relations Department, Dr. Asma Abdul-Amir Abis.
The Iranian side signed the memorandum at Farabi University, Tehran, in the presence of a delegation from Al-Qadisiyah University, including the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Prof. Dr. Hussein Falah Ward; the Administrative Assistant, Asst. Prof. Dr. Abbas Hadi Abboud; the Dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Nabil Imran Musa; and Dr. Haider Naeem, representing the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations. The memorandum was signed on the Iranian side by the President of Farabi University, Tehran, Professor Dr. Muslim Mohammadi. The signing ceremony was attended by a number of prominent academic figures from Farabi University, Tehran, including:
Dr. Babak Javadi, Dean of the College of Engineering
Dr. Soltani, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics
Dr. Khalili, Dean of the College of Law
Dr. Nasser Ghasemi, Head of Cultural Relations and International Students at the University, and a group of academics.
The Memorandum of Understanding aims to enhance cooperation between the two universities in the fields of scientific research, faculty and student exchange, joint supervision, graduate program development, and academic quality assurance. This will contribute to raising the academic and ranking levels of both universities.
