The College of Veterinary Medicine at Al-Qadisiyah University holds a seminar on parasites that are pathogenic to humans, their diagnosis methods, and some treatment methods.

The seminar aimed to highlight the importance of a comprehensive understanding of parasites that infect humans, how to identify them, and the basic principles of their control.

The seminar recommended accurate and rapid diagnosis using advanced laboratories and methods, and the use of appropriate treatment according to medical guidelines to avoid drug resistance. Prevention is also achieved through improved sanitation, health education, and vector control (such as mosquitoes and others).
