A group of professors from Al-Qadisiyah University participated in the Fourth International Scientific Conference on Humanities and Social Sciences, held by Ferdowsi University in the Islamic Republic of Iran under the title “The Role of Universities in Achieving Sustainable Development.” The conference was held in cooperation with the College of Administration and Economics, the College of Fine Arts at our university, the College of Education – Ibn Al-Haytham at the University of Baghdad, the College of Education at the University of Wasit, the College of Education at Al-Ain University, and the Al-Furatayn Foundation for Development and Advancement. The conference was held under the slogan: “Humanities as Partners in Sustainable Development.” The conference addressed topics related to political science, law, educational and psychological sciences, literature, languages, history, geography, Islamic sciences, media, fine arts, economics and finance, archaeology, sociology, physical education, sports sciences, training, and human development.
Our university’s participation included the presence of the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Professor Dr. Kadhim Nowair Al-Zubaidi, and a group of professors from the College of Arts, the College of Administration and Economics, the College of Education, the College of Law, and members of the university presidency. The conference aims to enhance the role of educational and psychological sciences in supporting sustainable development paths, encourage the exchange of professional expertise among specialists, and enhance the efficiency of human and economic capital. It also focuses on economic excellence and sustainable development, discusses digital transformation in business organizations, and other topics.
