The workshop aimed to enhance the knowledge of dentists and dental students about the importance and role of radiographic techniques in diagnosing sinus diseases by highlighting the relationship between the sinuses and oral and dental health, identifying the different types of sinus diseases, and radiographic methods for distinguishing them.

The workshop recommended adopting radiography as an essential part of the clinical assessment in cases of maxillary or posterior tooth pain, and distinguishing between dental and non-dental causes of sinus pain to avoid diagnostic errors and enhance collaboration between dentists, radiologists, and ENT specialists when clinical suspicions arise.
