A lecturer from the College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University publishes a joint research paper in a prestigious international journal.

Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Fahd Al-Karawi, a lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the College of Engineering at Al-Qadisiyah University, published a joint research study with international researchers titled “Developing an Effective Method for Measuring the Dynamic Fracture Initiation Toughness of Adhesives” in the American Journal of Aeronautics and Astronautics (ALAJ), which is ranked among the top accredited journals in the Shanghai Ranking of Engineering Journals.
The research addressed the development of a standard sample designed from various engineering materials subjected to a high rotational stress wave for the purpose of examining the dynamic behavior and resistance of adhesives used in the assembly of engineering parts, which are used in the manufacture of sensitive engineering components such as aircraft and electric vehicles.
It is worth noting that the American Journal of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAAJ) is ranked in the top quartile on Scopus and Clarivate, with a SiteScore of 5.9.
