Under the patronage of the President of the University of Al-Qadisiyah, Prof. Dr. Kadhum Jabur Al-Jubouri, and the supervision of his assistant for administrative affairs, Prof. Dr. Atheer Abdul-Amir, and the follow-up supervision of the Projects and Construction Department, in coordination with the Deanery of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, the engineering department continues to construct the educational pool project in the college.

A high percentage of completion has been achieved from the educational pool project, which is currently being constructed at a record speed, according to the planned timetable.

It is worth noting that the educational swimming pool is one of the important and vital projects in the college, as it represents a great outlet for performing practical lessons for students, as well as hosting local competitions for college teams of swimming. The pool will be supported with some classrooms surrounding it which are to be built later. It comes as one project within a series of huge projects planned by the university  through the Department of Projects and Construction and the Division of Governmental Contracts that include a group of classrooms, water ponds, waterfalls, laboratories and bathrooms at  seven colleges.
