The Department of Materials Engineering at the College of Engineering, Al-Qadisiyah University, organized a specialized training course entitled “Composite Nanomaterials” in the college’s Continuing Education Hall. The course was presented by Dr. Hassan Abdul Kadhim Abbas

The course provided a comprehensive introduction to nanomaterials and their unique properties compared to traditional materials. It covered how to integrate nanomaterials with base materials (polymer, metallic, or ceramic) to enhance mechanical, thermal, and electrical properties. The course also reviewed the latest laboratory and industrial technologies used in the efficient production of these materials and discussed the applications of composite nanomaterials in various engineering fields, such as aircraft manufacturing, automotive, renewable energy, and biomedical applications.
