The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Al-Qadisiyah University held a scientific workshop entitled “Electronic Addiction.” The workshop was presented by Assistant Professor Rasha Abbas and Lecturer Karar Talal.

The workshop aimed to identify the dangers of excessive and uncontrolled use of digital technologies to the point where it begins to negatively impact a person’s daily life. The workshop also included a definition of electronic addiction, its types, and its classification into different categories according to individuals’ habits in using digital devices and digital content. It also addressed the symptoms of this addiction and methods of treatment.
