A Training Curriculum Based on the Percentage of Contribution of Specific Endurance Abilities and Their Impact on Some Physiological Variables and Performance in Advanced Triathlons. A doctoral dissertation

A doctoral dissertation was discussed at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Al-Qadisiyah University, The dissertation was written by researcher Muntaser Rahim Abu Luwaikh and supervised by Prof. Samir Raji Abis.

The dissertation aimed to identify the percentage of contribution of specific endurance abilities to the performance of advanced triathlons, as well as to develop a training curriculum based on the percentage of contribution of specific endurance abilities. It also aimed to identify the impact of a training curriculum based on the percentage of contribution of specific endurance abilities on some physiological variables and performance in advanced triathlons.

The most important conclusions are that the curriculum applied and prepared by the researcher contributed significantly to the development of the final performance and the achievement of each event and physiological variables. The endurance abilities according to which the curriculum was distributed also had an impact.  Great for developing the final achievement and the accomplishment of each event.

The most important recommendations when developing a special training curriculum for this race require knowledge of the endurance ratios for the three events and their impact ratios in order to develop a curriculum for them. The coach must also develop a training curriculum based on these ratios for each event. This will contribute to developing the achievement.
