A master’s thesis was discussed in the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences at the College of Education, Al-Qadisiyah University, entitled “Interactive Coping Methods and Their Relationship to Counseling Wisdom among Educational Counselors in Middle Schools.” The thesis was written by researcher Walaa Nazim Karim and supervised by Professor Ali Saker Jaber.
The thesis aimed to identify the interactive coping methods and counseling wisdom of educational counselors in middle schools, as well as the correlation between interactive coping methods and counseling wisdom among educational counselors in middle schools.
The most important conclusions: Educational counselors in middle schools enjoy a high level of interactive coping methods, particularly those of a cognitive and spiritual nature, such as “resorting to religion” and “seeking social support.” This indicates their awareness of the importance of using effective adaptive strategies in the school environment.
The most important recommendations: The need to integrate effective interactive coping methods into educational counselor preparation and training programs in colleges of education and psychological counseling departments, with a focus on cognitive and spiritual methods that have proven effective in supporting guidance wisdom.
