A master’s thesis was discussed in the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences at the College of Education, Al-Qadisiyah University, entitled “The Effectiveness of the (LUMEN5) Program in the Achievement of Philosophy and Psychology and Mastery Motivation of Fifth-Grade Literature Students.” The thesis was conducted by researcher Zainab Mohammed Shaalan and supervised by Professor Dr. Safaa Wadih Abdul-Sada.
The thesis aimed to examine the effectiveness of the (Lumen5) program in the achievement of philosophy and psychology among fifth-grade literary students, as well as the effectiveness of the (Lumen5) program in mastery motivation among fifth-grade literary students.
The most important conclusions are that the approved educational program has a positive effect on achievement and developing mastery motivation among fifth-grade literary students. Furthermore, fifth-grade literary students need teaching strategies that take into account individual differences and their learning styles and strategies in an environment that encourages them to explore and highlights the aesthetic and utilitarian aspect of teaching philosophy and psychology subjects.
The most important recommendations are to include qualification and training programs for philosophy and psychology teachers on how to prepare educational programs and implementation procedures, given their high efficiency in achieving good results and helping teachers achieve Their goals and in a way that achieves the economics of education in terms of time, effort and expenses
