The College of Veterinary Medicine at Al-Qadisiyah University held a discussion session on the use of detomidine as an analgesic and sedative in veterinary medicine. Assistant Professor Wissam Hussein Salman presented the session. The aim was to identify the most important uses of detomidine in veterinary medicine and to emphasize the importance of this drug as a pain reliever and sedative for animals. The most important recommendations include the need to correctly determine the appropriate dosage for each animal to ensure the desired therapeutic effect and avoid side effects.
