The thesis aimed to develop a counseling program based on cognitive flexibility for students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Al-Qadisiyah University. It also aimed to identify the effectiveness of the counseling program based on cognitive flexibility in developing meta-emotional skills and addressing the interference of sports knowledge among students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Al-Qadisiyah University.
The most important conclusions: The prepared program proved effective in developing meta-emotional skills and addressing the interference of sports knowledge among students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Al-Qadisiyah University. The program also provided psychological and moral support to the students, contributing significantly to students’ awareness of their own emotions and the emotions of others, leading to emotional regulation. It also addressed the interference of sports knowledge, leading to cognitive regulation to prevent this interference.
