The workshop aimed to raise awareness of the legal and social risks of drugs by clarifying the negative effects of drug use on students and educational institutions. It also presented the legal framework for combating drugs in accordance with national and international legislation, and clarified the penalties for possession, distribution, or use within the educational environment. The workshop also aimed to promote a culture of prevention within educational institutions by disseminating a drug prevention culture among students and staff, and involving families and school administration in prevention efforts. Through these goals, the scourge of drugs can be eradicated.

The most important recommendations are: Activating legal texts prohibiting drugs within educational institutions, enacting supporting legislation specific to the educational environment, and enhancing cooperation between the Ministries of Education, Higher Education, Interior, and Health.
