A lecturer from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Al-Qadisiyah University publishes a scientific research paper in one of the prestigious international journals within the Scopus and Clarivate containers.

Professor Dr. Diaa Hussein Jassim, from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Al-Qadisiyah University, published a scientific study titled “The S100sA gene expression in oviduct epithelial cells of Iraqi cows with endometritis” in the Egyptian Journal of Veterinary Medicine Sciences, indexed in Scopus and Clarivate.

The study aimed to link endometritis in cows to the gene expression of the S100A10 gene in oviduct epithelial cells.

The results concluded that there is a relationship between endometritis in cows and the gene expression of the S100A10 gene in oviduct epithelial cells. This represents a direct impact on the process of sperm-oocyte coupling and fertilization in cows suffering from endometritis.
