Under the sponsorship of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Prof. Kazdhim Al-Jubouri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Agriculture, Prof. Hayawi Al-Jawthari, The College of Agriculture completed the water storage lakes project in preparation for the summer season and in order to confront the dry season. The project was designed to be a permanent water store in addition to representing a project for fish production.
