Under the sponsorship of the President of Al-Qadisiyah University, Prof. Kazdhim Al-Jubouri, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Biotechnology, Prof. Mohammed Alaskary, The College of Biotechnology will hold Sustainable Development Week activities 26-30/05/2024.

The festival’s goal is to study, analyze, and find ways to achieve the conditions for sustainable development in Iraq, advancing the country’s reality by identifying challenges without depleting wealth and natural resources and depriving future generations of them.
The festival includes a diverse workshop that addresses the themes of sustainable development, in which all faculty members and the rest of the colleges participate. These workshops shed light on increasing full awareness of the concept of sustainable development, which is an ideal match between the values and goals obtained while preserving resources for future generations and the necessity of equality between taking and giving to systems. Environmental rights and ensuring the composition of ecological communities for other living organisms while maintaining the natural and ecological balance are crucial aspects of sustainable development.
