Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Kazdhim Jabur Al-Jubouri, Ph.D. the President of the University of Al-Qadisiyah, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Munir Abdel-Amir Abdel-Fatlawi, Ph.D. the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, the Anatomy and Histology Branch at the college has held a workshop on the types of methods used in protein purification. The workshop has been delivered by Asst. Prof. Hazem Karim Nasser, Ph.D., Asst. Prof.  Hassanein Abdel Amir and lecturer Abdul Razzaq Baqir Kazem, Ph.D.

         The workshop aims at introducing the attendees to the types of proteins that are purified according to the type of protein and its source. It also touched on the types and types of Chromatography and HPLC.

        The most important recommendations are the necessity of holding training courses for the purpose of familiarizing researchers with the types of techniques used for protein purification and their applications in scientific research. in addition to the necessity of their availability in Iraqi universities or specialized scientific research centers, especially in the pharmaceutical and food industry and health research.
