A new scientific research has been published in the Journal of Medical Informatics, issued by Elsevier International Publishing House, which is classified in the first quarter of the Scopus index, which is considered one of the highest standards of academic sobriety.
The team has been headed by Assistant Professor Diaa Eidan Al-Shammari, Ph.D. and with the participation of Dr. Ahmed Mohsen Mahdi, and the researchers: Eng. Ali Hakim Al-Saeedi and M.M. Muhammad Radi from the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Al-Qadisiyah, and Ayman Obaida, Ph.D. and Kandkar Ahmed, Ph.D. from University of Victoria in Australia.
The research includes the production of a new technology for diagnosing cardiac disorders by reading and analyzing the heartbeat. The technology has been developed through developing of the Colpak-Leibler mathematical system, which helps in determining the extent of variations and differences between heartbeats.
