With the continuous follow-up of the President of the University of Al-Qadisiyah, Professor Kadhim Jabur Al-Jubouri, Ph.D. and with the efforts of the international classifications team and the efforts of professors and researchers at the University of  Al-Qadisiyah in the field of scientific research,  the University of Al-Qadisiyah has achieved a new competitive position within its global classification record by winning  the tenth place in the Spanish Scimago classification  as compared to Iraqi universities.

       The Scimago classification is based on a composite index that combines three different criteria based on research performance (50%), innovation outcomes (30%), and societal impact (20%). Each main index includes sub-indices such as the number of published research, the quality of solid journals, the number of reference citations, and relative impact factors.
