The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the College of Engineering, Al-Qadisiyah University, discussed a Master’s thesis entitled “A Process for Improving Wall Insulation and Reducing Heat Gain in Buildings Using a New Floor or Block Model” by researcher Ahmed Nasser Kadhim, supervised by Prof. Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abdul and Assis.Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Faisal Abdul Sada.<\/p>\n
The thesis aimed to develop, produce, and test an innovative self-shading concrete block incorporating air cavities within the block and a shading fin on its outer surface in a single building block.<\/p>\n
