The inhibition efficiency increased with increasing concentration of the extract, reflecting the presence of active compounds, primarily eugenol, which affects the integrity of the fungal cell membrane and limits its growth and reproduction.<\/p>\n<p>The study recommended the potential use of clove extract as a promising natural antifungal agent in preserving milk and dairy products.
