The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the College of Engineering, Al-Qadisiyah University, organized a specialized training course entitled “Using Artificial Neural Network Technology with MATLAB Software.” The course was held in the Continuing Education Hall and was presented by Professor Dr. Nabil Kadhim Abdul Ali, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Ra’i Madhih, and Lec. Dr. Asaad Dhafer Abdul Sahib<\/p>\n
The course aimed to introduce participants to the fundamentals and concepts of artificial intelligence and its applications in engineering fields, with a focus on Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) as a powerful tool for simulating complex engineering systems and predicting their behavior.<\/p>\n
It also included an explanation of the structure and mechanism of neural networks, a comparison with biological neural networks, and practical training for participants on how to build, train, and test neural networks using the toolboxes available in MATLAB.
