A Master’s thesis in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry at the College of Medicine, Al-Qadisiyah University, entitled “Modern Biomarkers for Early Detection of Bone Tumors,” was presented by researcher Ahmed Obaid Nahedh, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Ajil Abdul-Hussein Al-Zamili and Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Saleh Mahdi.<\/p>\n
The thesis aimed to study the role of these biomarkers as early diagnostic tools and to improve detection accuracy compared to healthy individuals. It also aimed to evaluate a group of biomarkers, including TNF-\u03b1, IL-6, Collagen Type I, Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP), and LDH enzyme, in addition to some hematological parameters, and to investigate their ability to predict the development of osteosarcoma.<\/p>\n
The thesis recommended the possibility of adopting these simple biomarkers for the early diagnosis of bone tumors, especially in resource-limited settings.
