{"id":3407,"date":"2025-10-01T10:49:10","date_gmt":"2025-10-01T07:49:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.qu.edu.iq\/?p=3407"},"modified":"2025-10-01T10:49:10","modified_gmt":"2025-10-01T07:49:10","slug":"research-collaboration-between-the-college-of-archaeology-newcastle-university-and-the-general-authority-for-antiquities-and-heritage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.qu.edu.iq\/?p=3407","title":{"rendered":"Research Collaboration between the College of Archaeology, Newcastle University, and the General Authority for Antiquities and Heritage."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A joint research team from the College of Archaeology at Al-Qadisiyah University, the General Authority for Antiquities and Heritage, and the University of Newcastle, UK, conducted a study for the first time in Iraq on ancient irrigation systems in the Western Iraqi Desert.<\/p>\n<p>The team from Al-Qadisiyah University included Assistant Professor Dr. Rajwan Faisal Al-Mayali, Professor Dr. Jaafar Al-Jawdhari, Assistant Lecturer Abdul Amir Al-Jubouri, and Researcher Mustafa Al-Hamza.
