This unique surgical procedure is considered a rare and unique procedure.<br \/>\nThe operation was performed on a child suffering from recurrent urinary tract infections. The medical team diagnosed a congenital fistula in the bladder (patent urachus), a rare congenital deformity resulting from the failure of the urethra to fully close during fetal development, leaving the urethra open at the navel.<br \/>\nThe operation was performed successfully at Al-Diwaniyah Teaching Hospital, and the fistula was removed.
